Deb Calvert
Deb Calvert is
a member of the economic development team at MidAmerican
Energy Company. She is responsible for programs and
activities relating to economic and civic development
for MidAmerican's utility region. In addition, she
provides assistance to businesses in their efforts to
expand operations or locate new facilities.
Her
development career began in 1975 with the Iowa
Development Commission. After leaving the IDC, Deb spent
two years with Shive-Hattery Engineers doing consulting
work throughout the Midwest. In 1987, she joined
MidAmerican's Economic Development team.
Deb is a
member of Professional Developers of Iowa and serves as
a board member for Dallas County Development
Corporation.
Deb and her
husband Ron have enjoyed residency in Dallas County for
more than 20 years. They currently reside northwest of
Adel with their daughters Lacey, Laura and Kaity. Family
hobbies include showing horses, trail riding, and
gardening.
