Retired from Principal Financial Group after over 36 years experience in the Group Life & Health division.
Held numerous positions during that time including responsibility for 14 Regional Claim Offices located in various cities in the Midwest and East Coast areas.
Education
Graduate of Walnut, Iowa Community High School and Northwest Missouri State University with a BS in Business Management.
Community Service
Member of the Adel City Council for nearly 20 years--currently serving as Mayor pro-tem and on several committees.
Represent Adel on the West Metro Regional Airport study committee.
Served as liason between Adel and Adel Partners, which combines the Adel Chamber of Commerce and Adel Main Street functions.
Active member of the Adel Lions Club--has been named Lion of the Year and has received the Warren Coleman Honorary Award.
Member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Des Moines where he is an ordained Elder.

Married to wife, Sherryl, for over 36 years, with twins, Sean and Megan, who are now married with children of their own.
